A - general information
 

Transport to the tracking fields

• The tracking center, Hauhovi is situated about 20 km from the Kauriala Stadium.
• The tracking fields are situated maximum 10 km from the tracking center.
• The participants drives to the Hauhovi by own cars.
• The participants will report to meeting point at the tracking centre.
• Each group will leave the tracking centre 1 hour prior to the start of tracking of the group.
• For all dog handlers a transport with piloting vehicles, from the Hauhovi to the track area, is organized.
• The participants have to get to the track area with their own vehicles.

Temperament Test and Draw for the track order

• When arriving at the tracking grounds the flight reports for the track, a draw will be carried out.
• Handlers not present at the draw will be given the number drawn for them by the organizers.
• If the handler fails to appear before his/her tracking group has finished, he/she will be disqualified.
• The temperament test will follow the draw.

Checking the tracking line

• After the draw, the tracking line will be checked and marked.
• Only this marked line is allowed for working the track.

Checking the tattoo number

• The dog's identification number (tattoo or microchip) will be checked when phase A has been completed.
